Ben Rose

Co-founder of Youth at Risk and Hickman & Rose Solicitors, a leading human rights and criminal defence practice. He specialises in representing businesses, professionals, high profile individuals and victims of miscarriages of justice. He frequently writes and speaks about legal affairs. Following a major miscarriage of justice case he was nominated as “The Times Lawyer of the Week” and is now a member of the “Times Law Panel”. He and his team are widely recognised as holding unparalleled expertise in these areas and are consistently involved in many of the most significant cases.

Linbert Spencer

Founder Chairman of the Windsor Fellowship and Shekinah Communities. Member of New Deal Task Force Minority Ethnic Employment Advisory Group and Government Office for London's Ethnic Minorities Opportunities Group.

Felicity Gillespie

Strategic consultant on delivering innovative solutions in the public education sector. Team member and author of Task Force reports on Enterprise in Education. A variety of assignments for the Dept. for Education & Skills.

 

Roy Ackerman

During almost 20 years at Diverse Productions Roy established a reputation for producing high profile documentaries and documentary series, many of which chronicled social deprivation and/or celebrated the remarkable achievements of 'ordinary' people when enabled to rise to the challenges in their lives. In June 2009 he moved to take on the role of Managing Director of Fresh One, Jamie Oliver's independent film production company.

 

Sue Cook

Sue is currently Head of Children’s Specialist Services with Southend Borough Council (a Unitary Authority). After qualifying in social, youth and community work, Sue spent 9 years with the Rainer Foundation before moving into statutory service with Essex County Council. Here she held a range of senior posts before becoming Head of Service for Looked After Children, where her responsibilities included residential services for children, family centres, fostering & adoption services and the child and family consultation services. Sue is a Member of the Association of Directors of Children’s Services
