Working with Clients
We do not set out to replace or supersede existing services, be they statutory or voluntary.
We augment them and encourage young people to make more use of those services that already exist.
The organisations we work with have highly trained and able professionals, including social workers, teachers, youth offending teams, prison and probation officers, youth workers, crime reduction teams, drug action teams and the like. Youth at Risk aims to harness this spectrum of skills to bring about real change.
We act as an agent of change in consultation with those who really know the local area and are committed to working with professional staff in a collaborative way which leaves communities stronger at the end of our programmes than they were at the beginning.
